Interesting. I just discovered NeoOffice which is open office under
java for the Mac - or so I understand. I only played with it for a few
minutes but it was fast, clean and very nice to use - better than open
office on feisty. Based on that, I would have thought that java was
good thing for open office. Maybe not.
