[CoLoCo] Gutsy Samba not Sharing

Has anyone had problems with setting up samba on Gutsy gibbon? It worked on
my laptop.  I could see the workgroup and shared folder. My desktop which
really needs samba, is not working. The ports are open because I checked
them with nmap. I can not see any shared folders or a workgroup from the
local computer after activating samba.
