Hi Jim and everyone,

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you guys. We're working on the
permit for 16th street mall and we have a table and materials for a booth.
We also have our 76er campaign in full swing - you can order free custom
flyers to promote LoCo events including SFD and Gusty release events. I've
attached a sample SFD flyer.

Jim, if you'd like to order free flyers or 'Powered by Ubuntu' stickers
create and account on system76.com then send me an email. I'll add you to
our LoCo group which provides access to 76er Materials area on our site.

Carl

Carl,

My name is Jim Hutchinson and I am (or will soon be) one of the CoLoCo
deputy team leaders. You may not remember but we met briefly at the Feisty
release party.

We are hoping to organize an Ubuntu booth on the 16th street mall on Sept 15
(I think) for Software Freedom Day. To date, we have not been able to get
anyone in the city of Denver to respond to a request for a permit. David
Overcash mentioned that System 76 was going to sponsor this so I was
wondering if you might have better luck securing the permit. I thought an
actual business might have more clout. Could you check into this for us and
let us know? I suspect we are running out of time as I'm sure they have
deadlines for this kind of thing. Also, do you have access to any sort of
"booth" type apparatus and such?

If you have any suggestions on how we should proceed I would be grateful for
some input.

Thanks,
Jim Hutchinson.
