[CoLoCo] Need help recovering data/system

I tried using Knoppix STD, but i'm not able to locate the hard drive. I
suppose I could try another live distro....

While in STD, should I be labeling my HD as it was on my regular version for
mounting purposes?

i.e. it is SATA, so should I just be doing /sda1 etc?
