A general meeting where we can share ideas and experiences with the Linux
and open source world.

Wayne Schneidman will be demonstrating Synkron, an open source file
synchronization program that supports the Linux, Windows and MAC platforms.
 This program is not distributed in package format so for Ubuntu he will
show how to download, compile and install it from source code. He will also
show how to install a program launcher on the Ubuntu Unity desktop.
We are open to anyone else who wants to present or discuss something of
interest. If you bring your laptop you can connect it to the projector and
share your knowledge/discoveries with others. Bring something of interest
to talk about or demonstrate.

Join us. It's fun to learn new things and to bounce ideas off others.
