Hi All,
After months of arduous (sic) planning, we have confirmed the first ever
official Ubuntu-Chicago documentation jam! The doc-jam will be held next
Sunday, January 17th, from 12:30pm to 5:30pm.
Who: Members of the Ubuntu-Chicago local community team, or other Linux
enthusiasts, who want to contribute to Ubuntu documentation.
What: Work on Kubuntu and Xubuntu documentation
When: Sunday, January 17th, from 12:30pm to 5:30pm. People who take the
train in from the burbs will be able to stay from 12:30 to 4:30, as the last
train out from Western/Hubbard is at 4:55. Transport will be provided
to/from the train station in Chicago.
Where: 1407 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL - Google Map: http://is.gd/5KWcU
For those arriving by anything other than Metra, please plan to arrive about
10-15 minutes in advance of the start of the event so that we can begin
promptly at 12:30pm.
We'll be providing further details during the week. Thanks, all! We hope
to see you there,
Jim
