Good idea to give everyone a chance to wring out the new release.

I always wait a few days after the release date when traffic on the
servers has abated AND let the community report problems.

I will be interesting to see if your mileage varies:
1) using the update-manager vs one of the command line options
2) already installed one of the Release Candidates 
3) using one of the other 'buntus
