[Ubuntu Chicago] Next meeting and CLC project and New Leaders Election and Code Sprinting and ...

Hi All,
I think it would be a good idea to start moving our suburban meetings to
CLC, if we can. If Richard is trying to give us control of the Loco, then
we should make it easier for him to do so, and having meetings at COD would
probably make him feel responsible for things. Richard would probably be
willing to continue hosting things at COD, but I don't think it would really
be fair to him. Plus, at the COD-LUG events, at least half (if not more
than half) of the group is not there for Ubuntu. It does a disservice to
them if we take up a lot of the time with talk about Ubuntu. If people from
the COD-LUG are interested in Ubuntu-Chicago meetings, they are welcome to
attend our sessions, of course.
Patrick, thanks for your willingness to participate and help lead. You seem
to have a lot of enthusiasm for this kind of work, so . . . like the
Wikipedian's say, "Be bold." Don't worry about stepping on anyone's toes if
you have a good idea that you want to see put into action.
I am doing a fair amount with Xubuntu documentation, so that's really my
focus for now. Loco work has to come secondary for me, given my other
commitments.
That being said, I think meeting in mid-late January would be good.
