[Ubuntu Chicago] 2Wire connection loss

It sounds like it is a router problem. How far are you away from the 
router and what type of security are you using?

Try changing from WPA to WEP and let us know if that makes a difference. 
If this helps it probably means your router need it's firmware upgraded. 
I know WEP has been cracked but it routers have a much easier time with 
it and it has less problems.
