[Ubuntu Chicago] Wireless setup help

The first url you provided looks promising.  If I understood the page
correctly by downloading and installing linux-image-2.6.22-9-generic. I
should be able to solve my wireless issue.  However do I need to do that via
the download manager or do I need to go to the terminal and use the sudo
apt... commands.  Appreciate the advice, keep it coming.
