CNR, Click and Run.

That is part of the deal of the recent joint venture of Ubuntu and
Linpsire. Mark Shuttleworth and Kevin Carmony thought is would be a keen
idea to have a nice little joint venture.

Freespire will be based off Ubuntu and Ubuntu will get the source for CNR so
they can have a CNR that pulls from the Ubuntu repositories. For those who
feel Synaptic and Apt Get are too difficult, and there are newbies who do
feel that way, CNR gives that yummy goodness of one click install and
reveiws. The baic is free and the gold is $49 a year and that gives you
discound on commercial software sucha s star office, legal DVD codecs,
Crossover Office, Win4Lin, etc. It also gives customer support for the pay
version. So if you download a bitstream fonts pack and it does not work,
you can have someone to get it to work for you.

Say what you will about Linspire, CNR has gotten applications running on
more newbie desktops than any other app I have seen.
