[Ubuntu Chicago] A Convert

Just thought I'd throw out there that I've confirmed rumors I heard that the
head-hauncho network admin at my university has switched to Ubuntu as of
recently. I think he came from Slackware -- could be wrong, though.

I somehow got put on the prestigious "Rogue Users List" yesterday (I wasn't
doing anything nasty! Honest! Not even torrenting!) yesterday, and when I
went in to get myself unblocked, he edited a script using Ubuntu on his
laptop and workstation, both connected to a Windows box (Running Cygwin,
'course) via synergy.

So apparently Ubuntu is lucrative for newbies and professional geeks alike
:-). I'm already blocked again, though, so whatever he "fixed" in the
script must not have worked. At least, I don't think my dual-boot,
Seti at home, and/or VM setups could be causing the problem...

Now, excuse me, but I have a Computer Science II final coming up, which I've
been "self-studying" (Or not) this semester, so I gotta go cram for that
;-).

Siggy
