Lord be praised! I popped the Feisty disk into my Macbook, and... lo and
behold, not only do I find it has the new 3D desktop effects (Like my
current Fedora installation), but my backlight and volume buttons, as well
as sleep on lid-close all work perfectly! (Which wasn't hte case with
Fedora -- which only let me change volume period under root)
Ubuntu saves the day again! I may very well be using Linux more then OSX on
my Macbook now... in fact, I'll resize my partitions now. Then I'll upgrade
my server -- which (*gasp*) I almost wiped before backing up my databases...
again :-P.
Anybody else have any comments on the Feisty release? Or have you all been
using the Beta for so long that nothing's new?
Siggy
