Oye! Yeah I don't think that tactic is going to work well for you 
Kendall. Did you send me an email or an IM yet? This is a well supported 
piece of hardware using the nforce chip set. There is no reason why this 
mobo doesn't work with Ubuntu or any other Linux distro. I'm happy to 
help. Any specifics on what you have tried already will help.

This is an older mobo and I've seen posts on the internet from people 
that have gotten it working back 2-3 years ago. Should be even easier now.
