Public buildings or churches aren't necessarily free unless someone's got an
inside connection.  I missed all the presentations as I arrived as the guys
were packing up, but they were kind enough to share their thoughts with my
nephew (whom I'm converting to ubuntu)  and myself.  I'm not sure how  you
could handle the  problem (if you could call it that) of presentations
getting off track.  That's the nature of these events.  It really depends on
the presenter putting his foot down and tabling these sorts of discussions
until after the presentation or convening another group off-line.
