Ubuntu-Chicago laptop shopping

I've noticed some real good deals on open box floor models at
microcenter but make sure you get the full warranty and that the
laptop isn't messed up in any way.
I was there yesterday and out of all the open box laptops only one
look like it had been abused.

Does anyone know if the salesmen there are on commission? They sell
like they are.
I'd try the old "I like but it's a bit to much" and then walk out.
See if they come after ya with a better price.

newegg.com also sells acer so do some price checks if your gonna go that way.
