Dude, I told you not to mess with that school crap, they don't joke around,
You are lucky they didn't seek charges against you, as even your way of
cracking students passwords is against the law. That means you had access to
them.

I applaud your enthusiasm and your egerness to learn though, I just think that
this is about the only time you shouldn't use school to learn. Remember, by
law in the US, snooping alone warrants a hack, as you gained access to a
location either by force or stumbling upon, that you should have never been.

I feel pretty crappy right now about this whole situation, as you have
displayed an emense amount of intelligence I know many people would kill for.
You need to fight this though, as if this stands on your record, it will make
getting into college for computers very difficult.

I hope this goes well for you. We all learn from our mistakes, and I just hope
you learned that "curiosity is what killed the cat."

Heh, everyone is calling me by my nickname now a days, even when I am out and
about, someone will be like, "Hey nixternal!".
Anyways, you have my support in this, I would like to know more information
though concerning how and what exactly you did. I don't know if I should be a
little pissed or a lot pissed as you are an important part of Ubuntu Chicago.
You have been with the group since day one, and even showed up to sling hot
wing sauce all over me at the first meeting.
Fight this, because if all you did was figure out a way to do it, and didn't
carry through with it, they don't have a leg to stand on. Can you blame
someone else? I am just kidding, never snitch, as it just makes things worse.
Are you going to be allowed access to computers in the school again? I am
doubting it at this point. The reason I ask, is because of your involvement
with the computer club there. You have something great there, and I would
hate to see that messed up.
Can we start a petition or something? I will have it signed by over 100,000
people in no time if we can do that. Get back to me RJ and fill me, or us in
on more details.
Good luck brother. God bless! <>< you will need it!
