[Ubuntu-US-CA] Linux volunteer opportunities in LA?

Not sure offhand, but there are many employment opportunities in LA for such things. :-)  I found when I first started years ago that it was VERY hard to get anything off the ground as far as fulfilling volunteer work with Linux on a local basis; instead I started pitching in with infra groups for various projects.
