Howdy All,
We've got a LoCo meeting this Sunday at 7pm (1900 PDT) in
#ubuntu-california on freenode. If you need help connecting, let us
know, or try: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InternetRelayChat
The bulk of the meeting will be about the Global Jam, which is fast
approaching and we need to pin down specifics.
An up-to-date agenda is available here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CaliforniaTeam/Meetings/09September20
Feel free to add to it.
Before the meeting, what we need the most is more ideas for topics!
The example choices are: Bugwork (triaging, etc), Testing,
Documentation, Translations, Packaging, but we don't need to limit
ourselves to those. So if there's something you've always wanted
to do to contribute, but never got around to learning, this is a
perfect time to learn. Or if there's some skill set you've got, and
you would like to present, speak up!
Please post your ideas on the wiki:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CaliforniaTeam/Projects/KarmicGlobalJam
and show up to the meeting to discuss! We should try and pick topics as
soon as possible (next weekend at the very latest), because people
giving presentations will need time to prepare.
No ideas are bad ideas, if we don't get to it this time, we've got
plenty of opportunity to catch it in the future.
See you there!
