Hiya Nathan (and everyone else on the list for that matter),
Without even getting involved with the logistics of this particular
request or event, in a general way, it seems incomprehensible to me
that the CA loco has yet to be "approved". What's behind that? What's
yet to be done, to "sanction" the Ubuntu loco team which encompasses
Silicon Valley amongst other CA hotbeds of innovation (Davis, SF,
Tracy, Pittsburg-with-no-h, etc)? Or, am I missing something
fundamental here?
>From my end, I see Canonical as only hurting themselves by not
ensuring that me and lotsa my pals here in the SF Bay Area get CDs of
all their latest releases.
If they'd simply ship us each Quantity 10 of whichever releases they'd
like us to take a look at, I'm guessing they'd see a flood of
assistance, improvement, innovation, and ideas, at least from _this_
loco. (gotta love the double entender on the term loco) - we could
each share a handful of copies right away, and hold onto a handful for
later. Perfect logistics, in this imperfect world.
...here's hoing this gets heard by the right people...
