[ubuntu-uk] keyboard not working at startup

Hello,

Just a quick line about something that has been happening recently to
me. I start up my netbook and the keyboard did not work: could not type
my "keyring" password. Mouse was working nicely so I tried gedit and it
wouldn't work. I reboot and it works. 

This has happened twice so I'm beginning to suspect it's not random.

PS: network problems still live but looking into trickle to see if that
helps to patch the problem for the moment.
