Ok, that is good, where can I get a barebones thinkpad that isnt going 
to cost the earth.....that I can install Ubuntu 11.04 on it with nothing 
else?

Oh, and by the way, if anybody has any time, the guy from here

would like to know, as I spoke to him earlier he has come across the 
same thing, 11.04 wont install on some of his computers and her would 
like to learn which ones will work that he has with 11.04.....because he 
cant work it out....
