Fair enough. I think someone else asked for a dot earlier in the thread.

Here a mock up: http://lordies.co.uk/logo6.svg. As I do not have the 
font I couldn't get an accurate proportioned dash, this one is clearly 
not quite thick enough for the font, but I think you get the idea.

I think the cirque-des-amis looked daft in-between the "Ubuntu" and the 
"uk" BTW.
