No idea. But whilst my iPod Mini and my wife's iPod Nano work 
brilliantly with Ubuntu (specifically, with Rhythmbox), note that iPod 
Touch and iPhone do not work, since the Touch/Phone use a secure 
protocol which has not yet been cracked.
