Atheros cards need a wifi driver installing, because they don't have the
right ones by default. My fix for this was to *do sudo apt-get install
linux-backports-modules-intrepid-generic* while connected to the internet
through a wire, or install off the Intrepid CD, which got her Atheros
wireless card running straight away.

Marco, can you view the wifi networks, or are you not getting anything for =
wifi? <br><br>From my experience putting Intrepid on my sisters laptop (a F=
