I didn't think about that, I just thought of physically connecting it.
Having used FreeNX on top of LTSP and also on my desktop I'd say it
works really well for most stuff. The only thing it doesn't like from
experience is heavy flash or video.
I guess it depends on what Rik wants to use on the tower PC. I find
that for most stuff I do I can get away with using remote connections to
PCs.
