There seem to be issues with wifi in Hardy.  (I had a problem with a 
previously perfectly OK atheros pcmcia card).  I think the Dell 1525 may 
have a Broadcom chipset (unlike the 1525n that has ubuntu preinstalled, 
which uses Intel).
