[ubuntu-uk] Help! FSCK or something is happening!

Hi

My computer will no longer start and i am getting messages talking about
errors in blocks and FSCK. I have no idea what it all means and I'm getting
my son to post this message for me. Is there anyone in the North Yorkshire
area that might be able to pop over to Grassington for a nice cup of tea and
a piece of cake? (and maybe while you are here help my computer back to
health?)
