[ubuntu-uk] Edgy sometimes stalls on boot.

This post has nothing to do with re-installing OOo as per previous
contamination of this thread!

My stalling at boot problem happens at the "mounting local file
system" stage. It does not alway happen but when it does only a reboot
gets things going again - but sometimes this has to be done up to 4
times before the boot process passes this point. Any ideas?
