Looking at:

  http://packages.ubuntu.com/stopmotion

shows that it's in 'universe' (Free software, not supported directly by
Canonical).  To install this, 'universe' needs to be enabled in the package
manager.  The homepage appears to be:

  http://developer.skolelinux.no/info/studentgrupper/2005-hig-stopmotion/
