[ubuntu-uk] Could Linux (and Ubuntu) do more to encourage students?

That's funny... Uni's should use Vista because that's what businesses use...
LOL... I work for a very large multi-national bank... about six months
ago there was a desktop refresh (all old PCs binned and new ones
bought), all the new PC came with Win XP obviously...
However the desktop standard is Windows 2000, so they were all wiped and
had Win2000 installed...
And now Vista is out, are they rushing to install it? No, maybe 2008 at
the earliest...
Perhaps some should mention what's happening in the REAL WORLD to the
academics.... :)
