I'm not sure what that actually leaves us with though.  Reading those
guidelines it may be possible to change the logo drastically as long
as you are not claiming to be "ubuntu" itself - I would suspect that
is the main reason for the restrictions.  If we cannot add text,
change colours, or anything else then we may just need a completely
seperate logo?

I would agree to steer clear of the Union flag (although, I'm in
Edinburgh and it is happily flown here), but flags of individual
regions are generally less of an issue.

Hm. 7 Days to complete a design... almost reminds me of the Edgy artwork.
