Scim is horrible compared to the alternatives, especially if you don't
use "click to focus".  For Japanese at least, I'd highly recommend
im-ja.

Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for typing Slovak with a
UK or US keyboard?  I currently use the character panel applet for
this.
