I think it is more that Oracle is trying to destroy Red Hat rather than 
do anything to help them... in "providing support" for Red Hat to Oracle 
customers, Larry and his cronies are effectively removing a major source 
(if not pretty much the *only* source) of income for the Red Hat 
Corporation. I fully expect Oracle to take over Red Hat sometime soon 
and in doing so create an OS/RDBMS/Java "all in" package, once Red Hat's 
share price has dropped sufficiently...
