A "feasability study" would be a good idea in my mind; if you actually
had an Ubuntu set-up in use somewhere that other groups could look at
(written about or in real life) and see for themselves how useful and
easy it would be. What are your own offices running at the moment?
How many machines, and do you have (a) server(s)? Are you familiar
with LTSP, because that might work well for some voluntary groups,
rejuvenating old equipment with the least possible expense.

I'd really love to get involved in getting Edubuntu into schools. I'm
a year away from graduating yet, but I'd still like to get involved
now! So if I can be of any use to you with yoru projects ... :)

Talk a look at UKTeam's wiki pages at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam
if you haven't yet. Adding your experiences as you learn will be
useful, particularly things that you might consider to be UK-specific.

Steve :)
