I can't help and reply only because I know how it feels to have a mailing list
mail go unanswered.
I am in the same boat, only it's an Epson C66 for me. In a way I am glad you
are having problems because 'at least it's not just me (tm)'.
I would also really like to figure out why we are having the problems we are,
so we can give some feedback to make Ubuntu better. Not being a developer
this is probably the only way I feel I can help add anything. Unfortunately
I don't know where to start and what information would prove useful.
Any experienced users willing to take me, and possibly Ted, by the hand so we
can deconstruct our systems and figure out what is wrong.
