Keyboards and locales

Hi :)
Devs are not noted for their people-skills and wining personalities. It's not in their job-description or their skill set. Occasionally you do find exceptions, people that are great at both but often it's their gaffs that make them interesting to be around. They are the equivalent of "Gods of Rock" and don't always have time to sign our t-shirts.
I think the brusque reply was the automatic reply posted when changing any of the drop down menus. It's disappointing to see the status has been changed to something like "wont fix", "not our problem". I thought there was a drop down menu to re-file the bug against the more relevant part of FreeDesktop.
Sadly you will need to find the right part, or make another guess at the right part, and then file a new bug-report there :(
Regards from
Tom :)
