First thanks for helping us out with testing this:

If you get the branch:

bzr branch lp:~muffinresearch/ubuntu-start-page/add-rtl-script
cd add-rtl-script/www/current/

The generated files are in the branch so it should just be a case of
opening up index.html in your browser.

e.g:

firefox index.html

The code and regexes are based on existing code written by google
engineers to perform this task.

The input should switch between RTL and LTR depending on the the input
chars. The script is provided across all the localised fils so the
file you start with doesn't really matter. Though if you want to, feel
free to test with the index.html correct for your primary language.

If you find it fails (doesn't use ltr or rtl correctly) for a given
string please provide an example of a string that fails. Also any
other feedback please add to the bug report.

I'm interested in making sure that it works expected for more than the
contrived cases I'd throw at it!

Thanks again!

Regards,

Stuart.
