Should documentation string freeze apply to serverguide?

This is a useful discussion to have. In my view, applying a
documentation string freeze to the serverguide can make sense because
translators may wish to translate the serverguide and ship it on their
websites (and we may wish to ship translated versions on
help.ubuntu.com). If so, translators will need time to do so without
more material being added. In this release cycle, there is probably
too much new material for translators to have any chance of getting
the guide translated in time for the release. However we should give
translators an opportunity to comment on this, and we should also
resolve the discussion for future releases. It is perfectly realistic
to think that, as long as the guide does not change every release to
the extent that it has done during this cycle, translated versions can
be produced.

What do translators think about this issue? Are any translation teams
realistically looking to translate the serverguide, or thinking about
doing so in the future?
