Do you guys have the 'backports' or 'proposed' repositories enabled,
by any chance, and have installed any recent updates of Firefox,
language-selector or gdm?
You can check which repositories you've got enabled by starting
software-properties-gtk, and see the installation history on the
"History" tab in Software Center.
Cheers,
David.
