OK, thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. :)
I have confirmed this with the Launchpad Translations team.
Firefox/xulrunner translations in the PPA are currently broken, because
of the message sharing transition taking place.
So, a general warning here: if you use the PPA langpack updates, you are
using bleeding edge Rosetta exports. We won't push them to -proposed or
even -updates before we haven't tested them for obvious errors.
Since the transition to message sharing is still going on, there are no
plans to push PPA langpack updates to -proposed, because it's likely
that there are some bugs until the message sharing transition is finished.
For the Firefox/xulrunner case, I will upload new translations into
Rosetta. Then we can see if that fixes already the problem. If not, the
Launchpad Translations team needs to do some magic.
