If it's inside a tag, such as <placeholder-1/>, you shouldn't
translate it. You should never translate anything inside a tag, as per
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DocumentationTeam/Translation

If it's just a standalone string, it doesn't matter what you translate
it as, because it will be a string that is not displayed to the user.
