Hi. 
Thanks for your reply. I dont have a net connection at home. So I cant
come to IRC chat. By the way, i registered in Ubuntu, and got ubuntu CDs
a week ago. I am having a little hesistation in installing Ubuntu. I
have tried the  live CD, it works quite well. Though I have a little
hesitation. With a little assistance, I can grab ubuntu easily. Another
question.. Where can i get softwares for linux? Especially multimedia
softwares..Are there any 
opensource available for that (in cds ) in Chennai ?
