சென்ற வாரக் கடைசியில் ELCOT நிறுவன மேலாளருடன் ILUGC குழுவினரின்
சந்திப்பு ஏற்பாடாகியிருந்தது..

அதன் ஒரு பகுதி...

6 or 7 members attended this meet. The meet started around 5:45PM.

By mid of Dec, ELCOT is planning to ship nearly 3K PCs to all
panchayat offices in TN. PCs are shipped with only Suse Distro (as
against the initial Dual Boot decision). If anybody insist on M$, to
compensate the cost, the DVD Writer and 17"inch LCD will be removed
and Suse + M$ + 15" CRT will be provided.

ELCOT responsibility is train the official on the Linux Env. ELCOT is
looking for few personals(M/F) with good looking, voice and nice
teaching skills in Tamil Language to prepare the video lectures.
Anybody interested, Plz join in the next LUG meet.

The Training session will be done thru Video lectures and Volunteers
are needed to clear the doubts raised during that time. Nearly 100
volunteers are needed to support the training programs at different
locations in TN. (Plz fwd this message to other TN LUGs. So that ELCOT
can get more LOCAL Volunteers).
