Hi Brian,

That doesn't sound like something specific to Ubuntu Studio. You may 
have more success asking this on a wider Ubuntu forum/mailing list where 
there are likely to be a few networking gurus lurking.

PS: I remember there was an issue with a version of the low-latency 
kernel (that comes with Ubuntu Studio) in the past, but this caused a 
hard and fast broken networking situation, and I think it was in US > 
20.x (and fixed).
