There are a few in the repos, but you're not going to find ANY software without bugs. ALL software has bus, so you just have to settle on what works best for you.

I've used Plank dock (in the repos as "plank") with some success, but sometimes it sees the upper panel as a window and makes an icon for it. Your mileage may vary.

Also, remember, Ubuntu Studio /is/ Ubuntu (not a separate distro), and shares a default interface (Xfce) with Xubuntu, so if you find something that is recommended to work with Xubuntu, then it should also work with Ubuntu Studio.
