[ubuntu-studio-users] How do I tell whether my USB Live Install of 16.04 Studio 64 bit is the beta, the RC or the release? Can't remember if I put the release on it or not...

Hi I have a question. Ubuntu Studio 14.04 had a launcher at the bottom. Does 16.04 have one and if so where is it? Thanks.

 Hi Alex,

normally, you can see your release when you execute "lsb_release -a" in
the terminal. However, I can't tell you right now if that will show beta
versions as well. By the way the question is asked, I would tell you
that as soon as you download all updates for your system, you will have
the newest release version, regardless of which build of 16.04 you
installed originally. That means if you installed a beta and did an
update post-release, you will "get" the release version.

Hope that helps.

Kind regards,
Thomas
