Please don't top-post.

If you are using the -rt kernel included in the Intrepid repos there
will be *lots* of issues. Like mentioned in the release notes, if you
*need* -rt stick with Hardy.

Otherwise, -generic is the only recommended kernel atm for Intrepid. If
you are using -generic and still having the above issues it must be some
odd combination of issues specific to your system.
