Now *that* is a good trick to know. I hope this works. What about stupid OSS
apps like the flash plugin, etc.? If those will work too, then I think it's
a serious shame it's no longer possible to buy real emu10k1 cards, because
I'd recommend everyone stick one in and make it the default for all non-JACK
audio. That's the setup I have at the moment (the emu10k1 came up hw:0 in
the reboot lotto) and it's working better than I've seen in a couple of
years, since I threw the emu10k1 in a neighbor's computer (that I just got
back.)
