Greetings all,

I just installed Ubuntu Studio a couple of days ago on an old Athlon
1.4ghz machine, and so far have been very impressed. Although the
install took a few attempts before it worked, the actual OS runs very
smoothly, as do all the programs. I've had a play with most, and love
the selection of what's available. I'd installed Ubuntu a couple of
times before on the same machine, but it pretty much died each time.
The upgrades stopped working, there'd be freezes and a few other
issues. I'd read about Ubuntu Studio so figured I'd wait until it was
out and give it a try.

Just one thing I don't know how to change. The monitor refresh rate
appears to be locked at 61hz. I'm assuming this is for LCD monitors,
but I'm running it on an old SGI 21" CRT that normally runs at 85hz.
Can this be changed?

  Cheers,

Glenn
